AMC says in a press release that the film has earned $26 million in pre-sales in the first 24 hours. This beats the movie chain's previous one-day pre-sales record for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which raked in $16.9 million.
Taylor announced the concert film on social media on August 31st, along with the trailer from the flick. She told fans the AAS tour has been the most meaningful electric experience of her life so far, and she's overjoyed to tell them that it'll be coming to the big screen soon. The concert film can be experienced in the theatres from October 13th in North America. She added,
'Air as attire, friendship bracelets, singing, and dancing encouraged. 1, 2, 3, LGB. If you know, you know.'

And while Taye is raking in the dough on her tour, plus it sounds like the movie, she's also giving back to those who helped make her shows happen. A source recently told People magazine that Taylor shelled out big bucks to her dancers, riggers, sound technicians, caterers, and more. According to TMZ, she also gave the truckers hauling her equipment $100,000 each. According to the outlet, there are around 50 drivers for the US leg of her tour, which means she dropped about $5 million on them alone.
A source told TMZ the checks were a 'quote end of the tour bonus.' All totaled, Taylor reportedly gave out $55 million in bonuses. And around the time her AAS film hits theaters, Taylor will still be on the road. She's hitting up Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis in the US before heading to South America and the rest of the world.
